In The Interim It is still sometimes hard for me to comprehend how fast time seems to move.  I remember visiting my grandmother when she was around ninety years old.  At that time she was for the most part bed ridden.  At some point during our conversation, she looked up at me and said, “The first eighty years of my life went by really fast.  This second eighty is going by faster.” Grandmother always had a unique way of putting things. I also cannot believe how fast this year is moving.  I was kidding with Patty the other day that I need to get out the ladder and start putting up the Christmas decorations.  But I’ll hold off on that for a couple of months. We are already into the month of September.  The unofficial end of Summer.  Children are back in school, parents are celebrating, high school football games are starting, and many areas are planning and/or having Fall or harvest activities and festivals. The Fall season is always an exciting time.
